If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. I have not seen people making EVs about the environment in a long time. EV advocates do talk about the benefits of evs, lower cost, higher convenience. The issue is that many just dont listen and some spout lies about hours and hours of charging on road trips and batteries needing replaced all the time.
