...sooooo, it's okay to do bad things because the neighbour is doing it, too?

Everyone speeds and runs red lights in my neighbourhood, dang maybe I shouldn't cosplay as captain safety and I should just run red lights too so I'm at my destination earlier than other people.

Besides, the vast majority of people will be poor once arable lands disappear due to climate change. There are other ways to give people a happy and fulfilling life than by running an unsustainable rat race towards infinite growth and infinite consumption of resources.

Someone else will export their energy and you'll be displaced.

Making ourselves poor while also having to deal with climate change sounds worse.
