Sausage in a bottle.
Everyone was so close.
i'm with u/smackemwittadic.
nobody, absolutely nobody would buy a hotdog and then say "I bought a sausage".
Similary, I don't understand why some people call a wiener without bun still a hot dog.

The confusion is that the sausage is the meat part, the sausage with the bun is no longer just a sausage
It transcends its colon coil and becomes M O R E!
This makes the most sense!
