There's a little section on my land that used to be a timber/log slide from a harvest area down to ground-level. It's about a ~35deg slope rising ~250' over about ~700' in distance. I'm going to start clearing it out with a hatchet and the chainsaw, hopefully get to the point of adding a few log stairs to the bottom. When she's all done, I envision this being the pain-maker part of my mini-trail.
