All of those names are aliases used by Trump at some point.

If we wouldn't have been stuck with Biden's ineffectual ass, the list could have been released in 2021.

But he wouldn't do it because he had a lot of friends on the list too.

My understanding is the list was sealed to the DOJ until 2024. If anyone deserves blame for not doing anything, it's Merrick fucking Garland.

Merrick Garland is honestly the worst, in a way everything that's going on right now is (in)directly caused by him. He could have been quicker getting Trump jailed over the Jan 6 stuff, he could've done more with these files... He just did a shit job in general.

He just did a shit job in general.

And at any moment Biden could have replaced him...

He choose to hide behind Garland instead.

Neoliberals before 2021:

The president doesn't matter, it's the people he appoints!

Neoliberals in 2025:

You can't blame the president for what the people he appoints do or don't do! Biden was just the president, he was powerless!

First, I'm not a fucking Neolib. And second, you can't be upset at Trump for being a dictator and also upset at Biden for not being a dictator.

Could Biden have done more? Absolutely. But he also followed political norms that had been established for decades. Which is to be expected for a man who should have been retired instead of running for office.

If the Attorney General is complicit in covering up a child sex trafficking ring, the political norm would be to fire them, and potentially investigate them and prosecute them for obstruction of justice.

So the question becomes: how much did Biden know? And considering that even I fucking knew that there was an Epstein list the government was sitting on because it was reported years ago, I have no qualms about blaming Biden for this.

I hope the Dems are able to press this issue to gain political support against Trump because that would reduce the suffering of literally the entire planet, but the Dems also need to learn a lesson from this. If the Clintons were on the list I want them prosecuted to the full extent of the law, the same as Trump. If Biden and other DNC leadership were complicit in a coverup then they should be prosecuted too.

you can’t be upset at Trump for being a dictator and also upset at Biden for not being a dictator.

Bullshit.

That would be like saying I can't be mad at the guy who left me in the desert to die or the guy who could have saved me but couldn't be assed.

The reason trump got a second term is Biden and the people he appointed didn't do anything to hold Trump's admin accountable

He didn't just "not do enough" he didn't try to do anything.

But he also followed political norms that had been established for decades.

Literally what I'm saying the problem was...

The norm was "no president will ever be held accountable" and that's why trump was elected again.
