Chronicle the life and tale of the fediverse (+ matrix)
Largely a sublemmy about capturing drama, from fediverse spanning drama to just lemmy drama.
Includes lore like how a instance got it's name, how an instance got defederated, how an admin got doxxed, fedihistory etc
(New) This sub's intentions is to an archive/newspaper, as in preferably don't get into fights with each other or the ppl featured in the drama

It's a rite of passage these days. Blahaj and DB0 are full of couch revolutionaries throwing bans like molotovs.
"I defeated the patriarchy today!"

What does this even mean? Should we not ban people who are disturbing and rude?
Answer the question.
They get a chance to be? 196 banned me from their Matrix channel just for being a straight person. I didn't even have a discussion with them. It was "oh, you're not trans? Bye!", instantly.
"Oh, we already banned him... huh.... fuck, is he right?!"
I was banned from their lemmy instance for criticizing blahaj about a month ago, I never even had a back and forth with a user on their instance. Some admin said "seeya never, then!" and banned me indirectly from a comment on another instance.
I'm on the 196 matrix and straight, never had any issue
Why would someone banned for transphobia lie about queer people hating him? Curious.
Congratulations
