I just found out recently that we can only put specific clear plastic items in there, and not the other plastic colours (with the same #). Been messing up the recycling for ages without realising ๐Ÿ˜’

It also varies depending on which company is doing the pickup, so something that is fine in one council area might not be in another. My old council had a fairly wide range of things that could go in the recycling, Ballarat you can't even recycle glass at the moment, and the range of plastics is much smaller.
