So he was caught and told he was caught and then 6 days later they arrested him. During the intervening time he was free to go and buy another laptop.
The idiot reckoned that because of "military law" he could go AWOL to not get arrested, yet when he was told that he had been caught, he did nothing. Intellectual juggernaut this guy
Cops have a saying, "We don't catch the smart ones." It is self selection, a lot of it.
That saying started with the recruitment process, that it also applies to the criminals is just a natural consequence.
It's kind of concerning actually that that's what the military can produce. Someone with the self preservation instincts of the depressed lemming.
