Plant based sounds so much better than vegan. Maybe a rebranding will help.

The 2 terms have different meanings.

Vegan: abstains from animal products for ethical reasons to prevent harm onto the animals.

Plant-based: abstains from animal products in terms of diet for environmental or health reasons.
