I am jealous, I definitely need glasses for driving. Or walking. Or sitting. Basically my vision sucks at all distances, so if I am doing anything that involves my eyes being open I need glasses.

hugs , you don't need glasses for hugs ๐Ÿซ‚

my near vision is slowly getting worse, it's not too bad , I can read but it's a little unclear , so I'm ordering new reading glasses next week

I may need glasses to ensure I hug the right person though...

My close vision has deteriorated to the point I got reading glasses this year. It's a bit of a pain because I have to swap them constantly for my multi-focals every time I do something else, but it is definitely worth it to be able to read. The other main downside is that when I want to stop and think about what I read I am in the habit of staring off into the distance, and with the reading glasses on that means staring at unfocused blobs instead of trees and clouds.

Getting glasses changed my life in a really, really big way.
