He's more clever than Trump BUT does not have the same cult following. There's still the hope that senate and congress will flip blue during the midterms, which means nothing new gets passed and impeachment can proceed (provided enough dems grow a spine).
Vance will not have the blind support that Trump did, despite being associated. Takes years to build up a base like that, and he has absolutely zero charm.
when trump dies his blackmailing dies with him, the new leadership might lose control of the gop politicians and thus the politicians will vote against leadership

GOP would definitely try and do it, but I would hope the cult turns on them. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
