Perhaps it is just a coincidence that Paramount chief Shari Redstone is desperate for Trump’s administration to allow her conglomerate to merge with a company called Skydance, which is controlled by another of his ass-eating sycophants. Perhaps it is just a coincidence that Skydance’s chief met with Brendan Carr, the little MAGA bitchwho runs Trump’s FCC, just before the firing. 

Perhaps it is just a coincidence that Stephen Colbert had referred to the little peener payoff in the “60 Minutes” lawsuit as “A BIG FAT BRIBE” just days before. 

Perhaps we are just living in a land of coincidences!

I hope he goes full "gloves off" at this point, and burns the whole thing down on his way out. Fuck Trump and fuck CBS / Paramount.

My exact thoughts! I can't imagine he won't go scorched earth and salt the fields.

Don't know the details but this sort of thing is surely in a contract, written in stone. As long as he doesn't break the terms of that contract I'm thinking he can do and say as he damn well pleases. And I so hope he does!

You should watch the latest episode of The Daily Show. They had a whole segment about "bending knee" and a literal song and dance saying "go fuck yourself" to Paramount. I couldn't believe my eyes watching that but it was hilarious.

Didn't he do the first part already? I saw a video yesterday which, I believe, sparked Trumps wrath, and Colbert really sounded like he's gleefully burning bridges. Not that I'm fooled though, he probably has a strategy that will keep him in black numbers one way or the other.

WTF do you mean? Colbert been calling Trump Hitler for a decade now. Hell, all of the Left been openly hoping for his death. The gloves had been off since day one.
