Unrelated rant, but does anyone else find that graphics cards nowadays are way too thick to be aesthetic? They look more like bricks than cards. And it's not like you need such a large cooler for a low-wattage card, so presumably manufacturers are only doing this for the aesthetic. But does anybody actually like that look?
Anyways, the 2-slot card in the OP feels like a semblance of sanity
I feel like they put bigger coolers on just to make the card seem powerful.
Then when you look at the ITX half-length model for the same chip, and it runs fine, you realize that shit was way past overkill.
It has resulted in some super-quiet cards tho.
