Short-term thinking for short-term profits. This choice will forever doom American auto makers as Asian and European manufacturers leap frog us on EV tech and build up supply chains to support them.
I bought a Ford fusion years ago and it changed my perspective I was ready to move away from only buying Japanese to Ford. Then they canceled all their cars except the mustang.
Now I'm in the market for an EV and nothing made in America fits my needs.
