My apologies for spamming questions. Oz is just enough different from the US to make the transition a bit complex.

We managed to score a rental in Mcdowall.

Looking at the plethora of providers.

Are there any providers to be avoided at all costs? Providers that are totally awesome?

I’d prefer to have the highest speeds possible, and the NBN thing says the place we will be renting has the hybrid fiber coaxial connection available.

aussie has australian call centre, the others don’t which means bit higher price per month, buddy is their low cost version but uses the same network

tbh most are much as much in terms of speeds, it’s really only super cheap providers that run out of bandwidth during peak times

Thanks for the recommendations. They all look to be pretty decent, and roughly in line with what we’ve been paying to Comcast, and arguably slightly cheaper for about the same performance.
