Definite 'never progressed beyond their first year hot takes' mentality in some spaces, but I'd argue an engaged older high-schooler will often end up in similar political boats

No u see its simply that university (in the states at least) has become so completely fucked that a graduate now is equivalent to a first year hot take a couple years back.
