Very cool. If you're especially interested in your cholesterol, plant-based diets are "associated with decreased total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL)". Not a small cross-over study financed by the "Egg Nutrition Center" but a systematic review and meta-analysis from dozens of studies โ€“ along with the obvious fact that reducing saturated fat intake like a plant-based diet almost inherently does would positively impact these levels.

Such diets have no effect on physical performance except that they may moderately benefit aerobic performance.
