Usenet Newbie - How do you get into private tracker? (lemmy.world)

Hey y'all! I'm pretty new to usenet and kind of overwhlemed with how many trackers are private. I got my eyes on DrunkenSlug and DOGnzb but it seems damn near impossible to get in. I got an NZBGeek subscription but want to diversify.

Any tips? For those who are "in" HOW DID YOU DO IT!! Thank you in advanced :)

Just out of curiousity, are you having trouble getting the content you want from the indexer you already have?

It's lacking a lot of audiobooks and older TV show, I just want a more diverse pool to choose from

Both are a bit tricky with Usenet. https://abook.link/ covers a good amount of my needs. Anything not found there is usually found at https://forum.mobilism.me/ (DDL) or http://audiobookbay.is/ (torrents).

I've had to rely on torrents for older tv shows.

abook link requires an invite however when i try to join the chat it says it is unavailable right now. is there any sites that are easy to get into so i can start building my stats? any help much appreciated in advanced!

Nothing easy. https://www.myanonamouse.net/inviteapp.php is considered the best private torrent tracker for audiobooks. Getting in requires a little patience.
