I watched a friend play and it seems interesting. I know some other people who do not want to play because the vibes they get are that it makes fun of VN players, and they do not want to be the butt of the joke, and I respect that although I also do genuinely like the content of this VN. What do you think?
If they can't appreciate a little bit of light joking then they really need to take a step back and figure that shit out, because that's not normal or healthy.
Romance VN parodies are very common, and they seldom show any respect for the genre or the playerbase (Just think of the dozen dating sims/ fake dating sim announcements that pop up every year for april fools) So people are understandably a bit hesitant when a game with a concept like Date Everything shows up. I thought it was a parody game as well and kept away from it.
