I had to manually change my Steam settings to exclude adult games. The previews were showing CLOSE-UP hardcore porn games. After flipping through a couple previews, I decided to block. I'm a simple person who likes shmups.
Adult games toggle is disabled by default, which means you must have enabled it at some time in the past.
I wonder if it's a legacy thing, I have never enabled it and I see them on my store page all the time.
I remember hearing that you could kinda force them to show up on your friends' store pages by leaving a positive review for them, cuz the steam algorithm weighs recommendations from friends more heavily? But I have no idea if this is actually true.
