The US Democrats are more like far right with gay rights imo. Invading foreign countries all the time, rampant neoliberalism, some pretense around fighting racism but enabling systemic racism, priding themselves in mass deportations, prevention of universal healthcare, upholding a debt driven for profit higher education system...
