When should something no longer be considered a spoiler? In general use your best judgement. If want something more specific,
- For films, wait until it's been released to streaming for at least a few weeks.
- For TV shows, consider the whole season as a spoiler until the last episode of the season has aired, then wait a few weeks.

When he said that DC Studios didn't have a company style, he's right. When he explains that it's so people don't get bored... That sounds to me like a spin. It's been clear that DC Studios (and Warner in general) has a leadership issue - they don't have a vision of anything other than trying to make money. James Gunn has had 3 very successful, and profitable projects for DC so they are going to let him do his thing as long as he remains profitable. For Gunn, it is about making sure the audience doesn't get bored, so that the studio keeps him around.
Warner Brothers is the bigger issue AFAIK. The animated stuff is fantastic, its just the live action that typically sucks ass.
In my eyes, that speaks to a mentality of not acknowledging animation as a medium, and ignoring it regardless of its success; ie, lack of interference from execs allowing things to run smoother
