Star Trek
Welcome to a Star Trek community where you’re free to chat and share your opinions about all things Trek!
I want to have a place where fans can come to praise, discuss, and even criticise things in the Star Trek franchise. No show or movie is perfect, and I don't believe people should be silenced for having a dissenting opinion. That being said, there are still a few rules.
Be Nice - No personal attacks. You can disagree with someone's opinion, but it needs to stop there.
No Slurs - This is applicable to ethnicity, religion, gender, or anything else.
No Adult Content - Keep it family friendly.
No Spamming or Trolling - Consistently spamming comments or trolling is just not needed.
Please keep topics Trek related or Trek adjacent for the most part, and have fun!

Just finished season 3 and began 4 of ST Enterprise. I had never seen an episode even though I watched TOS as a kid and TNG as a young adult.
I liked it better than I thought I would, but certainly not all of it. Time should be left to Doctor Who, but it could have been worse. I winced at a number of things said and done, but they had some interesting moral dilemmas on the way. They should have leaned harder into the "first time space exploration" but it wasn't that bad.
This is part of my process of working though all of Trek revisiting old and moving forward. So far I have watched in this order: TOS, TNG, TAS, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and now Enterprise. Next Picard or Disco? Both are rewatches at first but I didn't finish either so I will need to do that this time.
Yeah, time travel and similar is something that is hard to do well. It usually opens a lot of plot holes and requires a major suspension of disbelief to work!
I'm afraid I don't have a recommendation on which show to go to next though, I've never finished Discovery and Picard either.
Not a fan of Reed Alert?
I liked that a lot, great joke.
