Or he's mocking the administration for insisting they had a list and suddenly heel turning on it. Given who he is, one of those is a bit more likely, don't you think?
King, an individual of wealth and status with known pedophilic tendencies (just take that scene from IT for example but there are plenty more throughout his works) and history of drug abuse, being involved with Epstein, the high profile individual who is now known for trafficking underage girls and party drugs to individuals of wealth and status, is not a far stretch to make.
Also, the way his tweet is phrased does not come off in any way as mocking the administration but instead feels to be mocking those who believe there exists documentation that exposes a list of individuals.
It could just be poor phrasing but, because of that, it is hella suspicious and given the extra context mentioned above makes it that much more.
I'm not saying that isn't true, but there was a time when I was 'caught up' on Stephen King novels for the most part, and I don't remember anything like that. The only ones I had skipped was "The Shining", "IT", and "Christine". I tried reading of them at one point and couldn't get into them. I stopped reading him I think it was around the time he started writing about Cell phones. Maybe a little before. I don't remember any pedophillic type stuff in any of his other novels. Could you tell me which books you are referencing?
I'm going to feel like an idiot if I've somehow missed something like this.
From a post on the other site:

Yeah, a few.
Gross, yeah that's fucked up.
I didn't remember anything about that book other than it was a ghost story and thinking it wasn't good. It actually wasn't too long after that when I stopped reading him. When he wrote the second book about a scary car I figured he had said all he was going to say. I guess that was before the one about scary cell phones.
It sucks. People suck. I'm glad I stopped reading his books over a quarter century ago.
