Yesterday afternoon I went to the wigram air force museum and paid $5 for the tour at 1:30pm. My friend and I listened to this geezer talk for over an hour, and we got to climb into a Bristol Freighter. Pretty cool. I can't imagine christchurch being a forward-thinking place ever again. Maybe 50 or 100 years ago there were good people who wanted to invest in the health of the country, but these days it's just parasites and vultures sucking the marrow from the nation's bones.

Man i love the Airforce Museum. Maybe something to do with both of my folks serving their 20 years in the Air Force. Love the De Haviland Vampire, and the Skyhawks look sleak as anything. The universe is made up of 12 particals of matter and 4 forces of nature and light is the only connection we have with the Universe beyond our solar system, and the only connection our ancestors had with anything beyond Earth. Follow the light and we can journey from the confines of our planet to other worlds that orbit the Sun without ever dreaming of spacecraft. To look up is to look back in time, because the ancient beams of light are messengers from the Universe's distant past.
