Picking up a 7 string guitar today. Haven't had one before. Going to sound heavy as fuck!!!

They can go down to 9 these days. There's ones that have even more range sometimes too

It allows for a much lower in tone tuning which works really well for heavier music.

It sounds like an odd mix of percussive and melodic.

Haaaaah! I can maybe a minute of one of their songs and then I accepted that I'm probably never gonna be good enough to play a whole song lol

Tune down to drop A for maximum djonk.

I've also found 7 string sets weirdly light for the type of guitar they go on

It's in drop a flat lol
