Beautiful 🤩
I have an unknown lily in my front garden that’s growing for its first year. It’s single stem is now over 6’ tall with no buds in sight. The rest of our lilies are basically done now.
I’m starting to wonder if I didn’t accidentally plant some magic beans…
That sounds like a tree lily! They can grow 6-8 feet tall and sometimes take an extra year to bloom if newly planted. Don't worry, you didnt get magic beans - you'll probably get amazing giant blooms next summer.
