Never mind the crow bros, here's the gullfriends.

Herring gulls live for 12 years, mate for life, and are intelligent social birds. This is a place to appreciate positive interactions with the little skwarkers. They are on the red endangered list in the UK and a protected species, so let's all be nice to them.

That will do for now. We'll see how it goes.

I hadn't seen Steve for ages and was starting to worry about her, but she turned up yesterday for a couple of pieces of cake. We then chilled together for a while. It was so nice to see her again.

I'm pretty sure it's a her because she is more petit than other gulls. She's a regular here because she knew where to come for a snack. She didn't fly away when I went near her, so she's not Nemesis (who is larger anyway), she didn't have Spot's cheek dimple or Other Steve's black marks on her bill. So by a process of elimination, it must have been Original Steve.

Cool. Say hi to her from me.
