[EU] Stop Killing Games:

The consumer movement to stop game publishers from intentionally destroying older games with kill switches.

The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

Private servers are not always a viable alternative option for players as the protections we put in place to secure players’ data, remove illegal content, and combat unsafe community content would not exist and would leave rights holders liable.

Ah, so by that logic Linus shouldn’t have released Linux as he is liable for all the shit people do with it because it’s apparently impossible to limit liability in the license of software, understood

Despite the fact that limiting liability is exactly what the EULA does. You don't get to have it both ways, corpo scum!
