There's not even a mention of what a "distro" is, and if I had never used Linux before and watched this video, I'd run away as fast as I could. It's way too complex, and mentions way too many things that I've probably never heard of before.

That being said, I don't know who his demographic is. I'm always glad to see some effort into helping people discover Linux, but I fear this might have the opposite effect.

I mean it’s on peertube it never going to be shown to anyone who isn’t running Linux already.

I wouldn't say no one who isn't running linux isn't going to see this:

I know that I switched over to linux because of the sheer amount of advocacy and info posts for beginners on lemmy. I used to only use linux servers at work, but lemmy convinced / helped me to switch fully to linux! :)

Edit: just to clarify: I mean this post will get shared around on spaces with noobs like me, even if its on peertube and im not "on it"
