Zohran Mamdani declared victory in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary Tuesday night after Andrew Cuomo conceded the race in a stunning upset, as the young, progressive upstart built a substantial lead over the more experienced but scandal-scarred former governor.

Wrong. The people are moving to the Left. And not the Far Left. Just regular Left.

The Party will stay to the Center Right.

What people? Do you have a study or stat that backs this up?

Been awhile since I looked up stats but what I see tends to indicate that Gen Z is increasingly partisan, but are increasingly right wing, in comparison to boomers, who are overwhelmingly left wing.

I would suggest that we need to refer to the Democrats as center left... Yes, of course, they are more fiscally conservative and hawkish than their European counterparts, but they are probably ahead of some of them even in terms of social policy when it comes to how left they are....

I know it's frustrating for very far left people to think of themselves as outside of the mainstream, but once upon a time radicals wore that as a badge of honor..!
