[EU] Stop Killing Games:

The consumer movement to stop game publishers from intentionally destroying older games with kill switches.

The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

I can’t remember if I’ve already signed :(. I don’t wanna accidentally double sign and trigger voter fraud accusations.

I wasn't sure either so I just filled it out. You'll be notified if you've signed it before (I did, that's how I know).

I’m maybe paranoid but I’m in a very precarious situation financially and cant afford to be fined or something for filling this out wrong.

In Canada at least they just tell you signed the petition already.

People’s lives are busy sometimes to remember all the details.

In practice, even if the system allowed you to sign more than once, in most cases, they would just throw out repeated signatures on verification. The only exception is if some figured out how to sign enough times to be obviously malicious.

Another case I would see them go berserk is if they catch someone using other people's identities.
