I live around the Appalachians and this doesn’t surprise me at all. You have people choosing between paying a fee to take things to a landfill or dumping trash down some random bank on a backroad, and what is at the bottom? Most of the time, it’s a small stream. It isn’t good thing but I’m not sure you could convince people to stop that are this desperate and hardheaded.
