Sounds like they want to teach actual firearm safety. Every high school in America should offer a class like this. Maybe there would be less kids dying because of their negligent parents.

I'm with you. In my opinion it's not much different than sex education. Better to teach kids the facts and how to make good choices then leave them to figure it out for themselves from other, questionable sources like video games or TV/movies.

I learned gun safety in Boy Scouts and it's always stuck with me.
