We live in a gerontocracy, of course our leaders are going to be suffering from cognitive decline.
Would be nice if we could mandate highly invasive and frequent cognition tests for our leaders past retirement age. Like, "surprise exam ya haggard bitch, pass this or you're out with no pension or benefits!" Ideally conducted by some 3 agency's door kicker team at 3AM on a Saturday, every Saturday.
