I get you too but you also mention the reason why I think this kind of news in a „world news” community is bad for it. Americans are currently deep into a very tribal kind of political debate and start treating every place on the internet that they can find like another battleground. Many websites that report things like tech news try to shoehorn Trump news and quality of that journalism is very low so it gets quite tiring. It’s very hard to find a corner of the internet that’s free from US politics these days, hence I’m trying to push back a bit. It’s not like there’s not enough world-news-worthy stories where Trump behaves like a moron if you need to do that.
