No sympathy with the enemy or its collaborators. Russian and North Korean soldiers are fascists committing a genocide. Remember that.

Objective and factual reporting from the battlefield, parliaments, etc. is encouraged, even if it's about bad news for Ukraine.

Insulting Putin and his cronies (Orban, Trump, Musk,...) is absolutely fine but don't use homophobic or similar language against them. Members of the queer community don't deserve to be compared to that scum. Also: Putin disciminates against gay people. If you do as well, you're part of the problem.

Don't submit direct links to Twitter/X and Truth Social posts. You may: Post a screenshot + quote, do a full quote and name the author, direct link to a proxy service like xcancel.com, deep link an image embedded in a tweet because Lemmy will cache a copy.

I wish I was a rich man so I could send millions to Ukraine. It seems like they're the only decent country in this world. Glad to see them hitting back at the orcs.
Im not rich yet have donated 50 euros. Every donation matters. I can drink beer and not have to fight a war whilst they are in the trenches fighting orcs.

I donated at https://u24.gov.ua/ thats the official site afaik (but please do your due diligence and ascertain the validity of that site by searching around a bit yourself)
You can direct where the funds go on that site, like for education, or for war maybe, other areas too. That's how it was for me.
It's inspiring seeing what true leadership looks like for a change.
