I hope the article means “remake” and not “remaster”.

I don't. I do not trust 343i with a mustache to make a remake of Halo CE, at all.

Honestly, Phil didn't even say Halo. He said "the return of a classic that has been with us since the beginning." And I sincerely hope that means the return of Fuzion Frenzy or Project Gotham Racing.
