It's a cat, cat often go outside. Have you any reason to think it's lost?
A kitten outside in an apartment complex just seems concerning to me 😅 I've never had a cat though, and none of my friends keep outdoor cats so I don't really know what's normal
I live right next to the highway and there aren't many neighborhoods around here, so sometimes I see feral cats at night, but never cats that seem happy to interact with people but also want to hide under cars and find shelter
I tried to take it inside so I could figure out what to do but the crinkly noise from the seal on the door scared it and it ran all the way back to the ground floor 😅
Our cat could go out for days (we live in Paris, France) and she lived to 21 ;)
Ask your neighbors (later this morning), you can also put a note on the bulletin board if there is one, or scotch it somewhere near the entrance of the building with a picture of the cat, letting know you found it with your phone number?
Its a shame no one from the us is likely to be awake 😅
But how do you find it again if no one replies?
There's no bulitin but I could ask aparement management to send out an email when they open in the morning
