Funny how silly a mastodon thread looks from lemmy. We don’t have super short character limits here (10-50k), so the whole thread in a single post would be natural here, and then for me to see the rest of the post I have to click to the original fosstodon page and scroll down.

I appreciate posting to lemmy. But I’ve always the character limits on mastodon dumb and it’s quite annoying when they create so much friction, especially when a good part of the fediverse “spirit” is to get back some of the blogosphere energy.

Yea ... you have to go the original mastodon instance where the posts originated.

It might actually be a bug that the thread didn't end up here as comments, or at least something went wrong.
