It always was.

There just used to be enough wiggle room for hypocrites to pretend that that's not what it was, so they could pretend that they had principles while still defending Israel.

Now there isn't even sny wiggle room left. Israel is so blatant and open about their murderous goals that even the most dedicated hypocrites can't pretend otherwise.
