Twinings is the brand. Not sure what grounds there is for calling it the most famous - before clicking the article I thought it had to be Typhoo or Tetley. Clearly they all thought that whatever they chose for the company name, it *had* to begin with "T" because, you know, they sell tea.

A Guess. But when outside the UK. Twinings is the most likely one to find in supermarkets etc.

When I lived in the US it was often all I could find. Or that evil US shit Lipton.

Had to go to British stores to find Tetley. And only being back in the UK for 15 years did I discover the truth.
