I've decided I need a detailed and comprehensive moving plan to make sure everything goes smoothly for my relocation. After a lot of research and considerable thought, here is what I have come up with:

Step 1: Put everything in boxes
Step 2: Move boxes to new house
Step 3: Unpack all the boxes

I think I've got this.

I don't think I'm up to a proper inventory for everything, but I printed out some stickers to label which room everything belongs to. I'm writing a quick note on that of the most important bits I'm likely to want to look for first.

I did have a plan to use the orange fragile tape on all the last boxes I pack, as they will be the ones I want to unpack first, but I accidentally packed the tape with the rest of the stationey supplies, so I might have to do some "open first" labels instead.
