Police in the United Kingdom say a man has been detained after a vehicle struck several people on Water Street who were on the street celebrating Liverpool's Premier League win.

In a statement, Merseyside Police said they had detained a 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area in connection with the incident.

The public rightly so should go nuts at these kind of things. Cars are dangerous.
