All this does is further the name-calling of 1980's where everyone you disagree with is a communist. It's anti-understanding, anti-education, anti-teaching in favor of MAGA values of mockery. Everything Neil Postman described about Twitter in his 1985 book "Amusing Ourselves to Death". The Reddit Society is mockery-washing the need to teach hard-core remedial morality. Standing up for more mocking and mockery is joining in with the anti-goodness of the Russian information warfare. Far better to go down with the ship standing up for education and begging for a better future based on goodness. People on Twitter do not understand the value of limiting the power of President Trump. Just like Fox News audience does not understand. Neil Postman explains all this in his 1985 book. It will not be trivial or easy to turn around, and unlike Nazi Germany and Japan after world war two, the rest of the world isn't likely to "rescue" the USA from bad self-harm and aggression values.
