How tricky would it be To create a browser extension that notified you if you visit a site owned by these big6 (and more) and which one?
That's...a lot of domains.
The database seems like the biggest hurdle indeed.
I am considering about a community maintained dataset that starts with the most major sites and companies and expands from there.
I would not be able to do this alone but we could create a lemmy place to start something like it.
I don't see why not. Maybe a community for it will interest potential contributors to the project!
