The harshest reality is that Americans / We The People, win debate the same way Donald Trump does. Shit-talk and insults and one-upmanship. It's a miserable world to have pandemic debate won by abandonment of complex understating, bullying works. It works on Reddit, anonymous no-identity is self-dehumanization to "defend" against attacks of life. Reddit is real life. Lemmy is real life. To act as if they exist outside Earth and the universe of influence is to smack right into what people claim is their most important needs in life: love, compassion, family... religion.

Donald Trump isn't just a cult god / Jesus himself. He is an entire religion of sexual conquest, boss man, assets. Long after he is dead, it will live on like a religion. Warlords in other parts of the world.

Do we really think we escaped these religion warlord problems?

People haven't been able to solve Ukraine hot war since February 2014. The "Operation Matthew 4:19" since March 2013 (in prep for the Ukraine war, part of an even longer ambition).

How much freedom is left with over-consumption and 8 billion people? We gave up on housing in the developed world and left generations of 21 year old adults unable to live the 1965 USA and Canada lifestyle of getting your own house... that stopped working in year 2001 for many, and it never returned in 25 years so far.

North America, Canada and USA, was a virgin land taken from native peoples who had low enough population that they didn't need skyscraper buildings and imported goods from China... and lived a lifestyle of more integration with nature. Europe was already beyond that development / over-consumption - just ship building was consuming trees as a massive rate.

How much freedom can we have when all our freedom is hate, war, dehumanizing people we disagree with.

Freedom to over-consume and not share and just declare those who can't manage in the competition to be losers / failures / homeless and deserve it.

We have turned Bluesky and Reddit into a screen game of hate upon the out-group, not much different than the Levant religion book games / religion venues of hate-upon the out-groups.

Ukraine February 2014 was runs into the February 28, 1954 equations of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ten years after World War Two, it was already too far in our retention of hate. Hate doesn't work with world travel and world communications. Hate has to be addressed directly. The world has to convince the world, the world has to convince Russia, that war against Ukraine is a mistake. Develop goodness and stop mocking "whirled peas" and actually face that we all live in a world that needs peace.
