....No? That's literally the exact opposite of what the biblical God expects of men.

Jesus says that men should be compassionate, selfless, giving, and loving. That they should help orphans & widows, the sick & injured, people in prison and even..... foreigners.

Christianity has been invaded & commodified for even more horrific purposes. And I could not be more disappointed in anyone who believes this slop. Because the ones who believe this are the ones who never read the Bible and takes everything at face value.

And a pastor or someone successful claiming to be a "Christian" would never lie! Right? .....RIGHT???

They can no longer discern the wolves from their flock, and God will not have mercy on them.

Hallelujah, holy shit.

Have you read the Old Testament? Genocide is pretty "hard" I'd say.

I'm a formerly of the faith. I've read it all an uncountable amount of times.

The New Testament is kinda of a "new era" for the tone of Christianity. The sacrifice of Jesus was the old ways being re-written and ushering in the new way. His death made it so people no longer had to make blood sacrifices and offerings in order to be forgiven. It really is a beautiful story.

The absolute selfishness and barbarism endorsed by many modern-day "Christians" would make Jesus weep.

Luckily, Jesus also promises that they will get what they are owed in the end.

How did I know this was going to be the reply... You're not even Christian anymore, and you're still doing apologetics.

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

Matthew 5:17-18

The whole "new covenant" thing is just a convenient way for Christians to convince others (and often themselves) that their religion isn't complete hateful trash.

And LOL at:

They will get what they are owed in the end.

If you think I'm defending Christianity in the slightest, maybe read it over a few more times, yeah?

All I'm doing is using what they claim believe to magnify their hypocrisy.

Know thy enemy or whatever.
