Then what is he drinking outside of Germany if water is not what he actually wanted? That does not add up.

Okay, but the question remains about what he drinks elsewhere.
Since Doug hasn't replied, I assume they're a juice fan. Maybe some milk, or herbal tea, or ooo I should go make some hot chocolate now that I'm on this spiel lol also not diet could mean non-caffeine sodas like sprite? Since nobody would expect diet juice or diet tea lol
But you get all of that in Germany...?
