Today I learned that the Village Acadien is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture! I was sure it was a private enterprise, like Le Pays de La Sagouine.

To anyone reading who has never been to le Village Acadien, I really recommend it. The old buildings they moved there, as well as the reconstructions, are super impressive. The actors are also really fun and invested in sharing Acadian history and heritage.
